None of this is betrayed by his expression, tone, or body language, but it also might be apparent that necromancer is a simple way of trying to encompass it. It isn't just the big guy that was raised, but several of the smaller ones as well.
He glances back to try to gauge how Lyney is taking it, if it looks like he's put off or frightened by it. Lots of others have been in the past. It also sometimes sheds a new light on the way people look at his shadows.
