[Technically the spine worm (which, for better or worse, Frieda is wholly unaware of) would be completely on board with what Jade is arguing for. It couldn't care less about who gets maimed, murdered or otherwise sacrificed on the path towards Eldian supremacy (and it wouldn't even have cared about whether it's Eldians or some other suitable symbiote race either)! It was entirely great-great-great-etc.-grandpa Karl who threw a wrench into everything with his insistence on dismantling a perfectly functional, if brutally oppressive, empire. (Granted, there was a lot of internal instability towards the end... but details!)]
The point isn't the individuals' atonement, but the atonement of the Eldian race. When I say "atonement", I mean "extermination". The only way to atone for our sins is to accept our rightful fate of disappearing from our world.
