[Unfortunately, it feels extremely heavy to the boy, but honestly not much heavier than what he was already used to carrying. It just sort of reaffirmed things he had already had drilled into him. He deserved to feel this way. This was the weight of his crimes. This was his life now and he couldn’t escape it even in death.]

… Is that why I’m here now? Is this more punishment?
