Introduction
Welcome one and all toooooo the Titanic Dome!

This year's arts festival is a lot more ambitious than last year's, what with its giant venue that can house most of Ellipsa's population! Just like last year's, it is a festival by otherworlders for otherworlders, but it's definitely garnered a lot of attention that locals have come, too.

Despite it being a venue for fighting and combat and whatnot, the hallways that line the arenas are definitely prime areas for putting up booths and exhibits. Of course, the won't just be used for fighting this time around, too! It's definitely a creative way of using the venue. Granted, it's a little farther from the city as people do have to teleport to access the area, but what's a little adventure? Everyone is guaranteed safety here despite it being in the middle of two segments as there's security around, so even civilians and those local to Ellipsa have come to enjoy the festivities.

Everyone who participates is given a nice paper arm band like what people are made to put on in amusement parks. The bands aren't something everyone is required to wear, at least, and they can even stop by the booth nearby and decorate their arm bands! Show your support of your favourite fighter, or maybe you're a fan of one of the performers? Either way, it's definitely a good way to show you're on someone's side!

Food, Talents, and Exhibits
🎵 As otherworlders enter the dome, they'll be greeted with the sights of various booths and aromas of the bustling food stalls, some run by familiar faces you might know. Ayaka and Yoimiya have made sure there's plenty of food for visitors to eat while they walk around and partake in the festivities. From barbeque burgers and hotdogs to taco stands, to dumplings of all varieties, never-ending desserts and drinks, a plethora of goodies await those who are hungry. There's even a ramen food truck and for the more brave souls who wish to take on a challenge, featured on the menu is an appropriately named, devil's ramen. Nearby is a taiyaki ice cream stand for those who need to cool off their scorched tongues.

One of the main attractions is the talent showcased by the otherwordlers themselves. Strewn across the park are various stalls and art exhibits. A blacksmith booth with samples and sketches of all sorts of weapons is run by Jean. Works of art from Mary, Tau, Albedo, Kaeya, Jinhai, Rapunzel, and dioramas from Caster are featured. There are also other fun stalls such as magical face painting from Jinhai, and a crafts booth run by Rapunzel who is also giving out complimentary cupcakes. (While supplies last!) Come visit and have a chat with everyone while you admire their works if they happen to be around.

Inside the arena proper sits a dazzling stage stage for everyone to come watch the talents. Like last year, Ren Jinguji takes on the role of host, introducing everyone, hosting games, and even performing himself! All of the performers are stars in their own rights, showcasing their singing, acting, dancing, and instrumental capabilities. Pull up a chair or blanket, and come watch some showstopping performances! Everyone has worked so hard to make this a fun, joyous occasion.

Talent scouts, as well as other professionals native to Ellipsa, are present during the festival, as well. Any performers, if they do well? May end up being approached by these people at some point, and be given an opportunity to go big in the future!

Tournament
The schedule of festivities can be found via pamphlets and in various social media platforms. There are also screens around the dome that show what event is happening now and what event will happen soon!

The Flower Cup games all happen at the start of the tournament, on the first day. Each game is done one after the other, where contestants either line up on stage for the push-ups contest or down on the ground of the arena itself for the animal transformation race. These games serve as a warm-up for the audience to get their blood pumping and for their competitive spirits to light up!

After that, some talents are asked to come up on stage, whether it's a group acting a lighthearted romcom, playing the lyre, singing songs, or performing a "magic" show! Entertainment is at is finest–where so many forms of art come together to make people happy and inspire them. And after half of the talents that have signed up perform, Ren gets back on stage to announce that the Tournament is about to begin!

It's the Seasons Cup first before the Rainbow Cup, and it's towards nighttime that the Rainbow Cup actually happens. What's more, only the eliminations happen on the first day, creating so much hype and suspense for the following day.

Because of how big the tournament has become, many locals have even formed fanclubs of the participants. It hasn't even been a couple of hours, and there are already all kinds of merch of the participants that can be found in the various booths around the dome! Is that a body pillow cover of Hijikata?! Wait- is that E'kayan's face on a mug? Hang on! There are posters of Minato already?! People sure do work fast… There are even a bunch of very muscular men in speedos jogging around the arena come nighttime, all cheering for their Lovely Miss Yoimiya! People are going crazy for just about everybody who's come up on to fight, that much is for certain!

Come the second day of the festival though, more talents take the stage once more, some with their guitar, some with just their own equipment to sing and dance, and some to even eat a giant chicken! There are so many more acts prepared for the second day and everyone is hype for it! But what is more hype is the grand finale for the Seasons Cup and the Rainbow Cup.

Someone might have even rented a blimp just to drive a message by to cheer for Tartaglia! And let's not forget the one fan who's been distributing free bananas as a tribute to MK for the finals…

Of course, the participants do! Not! Disappoint! From day one until the last day of the festival, everyone has fought so well and has displayed so much showmanship. Right before dinner time, Ayaka comes on stage for the first time, introduces herself, and awards the champions and runner-ups with their trophy and a flower crown to wear. Prize money are credited to their accounts by the end of the week.

Before anyone can go, though…? There's still the closing ceremony to spectate!

Festival End
In Naganohara Yoimiya fashion, a festival is never complete without a barrage of fireworks. Together with Tartaglia, the two have prepared a dazzling light show to close off the festival with a bang. A series of fireworks representing each of the seasons start things off, pink sakura petals for spring, yellow suns for summer, red maple leaves for autumn, and blue snowflakes for winter. Next, star shaped meteors blitz across the sky, a representation of the otherwordlers who came from distant worlds. And last but certainly not least, the couple finishes off the show with a swarm of their signature mini goldfish and narwhals that swim around in the sky together until they explode into a beautiful array of orange and blue. Another exciting year for the Arts Festival has come to pass, one that is sure to be filled with fun memories.

Now that festivities have shimmered down, the organisers begin the clean up and the stall owners make their preparations to go home and close up. If you have some time to spare, feel free to lend a hand. The dome is still open to those who just want to wind down for the evening, various tables and chairs around the corridors for resting.

[ As Lynette casually browses through the stalls at the festival, some things will naturally catch her eye. Especially since she's a more recent arrival and hasn't met too many other otherworlders, it's easy for her to take note of the abundant merchandise themed one of her fellow Fatui. He was known to be one of the more outgoing Harbingers, so she isn't surprised that it seems like he's made a name for himself here.

When she comes across Childe himself, she watches quietly for a moment. She herself hasn't seen the contents of the slim volumes he seems to be looking at (and then hastily away from), but a glance at one of the covers gives her a pretty good guess as to what might be causing Childe to make those expressions.

She debates slipping away and finding him later, but it's possible he would notice her presence anyway. And even though this is a different world, her Father has previously emphasized the importance of treating the other Harbingers with respect (as long as they weren't interfering with the House's goals). ]

Greetings, Master Childe. You seem to be quite popular here.

[The speed of which the current volume of Saturdays Are For Maid Outfits! in his hands gets slammed shut upon hearing another member of the Fatui address him is impressive, and when he turns around to see Lynette, there's a hint of mortification written all over his face, no matter how hard he tries to hide it. The book suddenly disappears too as he spins around, lost to the ether wherever it went.]

Y-Yes! I...couldn't help but notice that I've garnered a few -ahem- fans for the tournament...

[The faint red twinge of color on his cheeks is unmistakable. He has no idea how he's going to talk himself out of this one.]

...You must be Lynette, it's a pleasure to finally meet you. Your brother connected with me a bit earlier in the month, and told me about your arrival.

[ The tip of her tail gives a slow twitch, the only sign of her mild amusement--her face remains placid. ]

Yes, my apologies for the delay in introducing myself to you. I also wanted to thank you for your assistance so far--it's easy to see why you have such enthusiastic and talented fans.

[Rapidly trying to put himself together to attempt to have some kind of mild, professional interaction with a subordinate, he only manages to laugh nervously instead.]

Yes, they are...enthusiastic, that's for sure...

[Addressing it only makes it worse, Childe! He waves a hand in dismissal of the subject, trying to move on from being caught red-handed in this section of the booth. In fact, he will try to begin to lead Lynette out of here by stepping away from the incriminating books that he, unfortunately, can't stop from being produced.]

A-Anyway, don't mention it- I'm glad to lend a hand whenever it's needed. I assume you're referring to the work he's helping me with?

Mm, as well as the general support since we've only recently arrived.

[ She'll have pity on him and follow him away from the booth, though she does pause near the exit to glance at a book. By the cover, it's fortunately one of the tamer volumes. ]

"Harbinger of Love"...what an interesting title.

[For a moment, he thinks he's getting away with only minor emotional injuries, trying to speed his step up as he leads her to get the hell out of this section of this particular booth, until he hears:

Harbinger of Love.]

They found out about that too?!

[The words leave his mouth before he can stop them, he leaves no explanation as to what that means- it's just he doesn't broadcast his status as a Harbinger all that much- but his brain doesn't think to say that, leaving it very open to interpretation...]

[ She raises one eyebrow at him--she was going to stop teasing him after this, but he's giving her such a good opportunity. ]

It seems their intelligence abilities are very good. Almost as good as their imagination.

[He wouldn't need to see her judging him, he can feel it, and he waves his hands in front of him as if that alone would dispel the rumor he's creating on accident here.]

Wait, hold on...I mean, yes, I agree they do seem to be awfully good at their research, but I swear it's not what it looks like!

[Goodness, he's really digging himself a grave here. Maybe if he'd learn to lie a little better when put on the spot...]

I've got a girlfriend, I'm not going out and being improper! I just have to commend them by discovering my rank among the Fatui. I don't advertise that...the only people who know are those who I think should know, that's all.

[Please believe him, Lynette!]

[ She looks at him with her usual deadpan expression for a long minute before taking pity on him. ]

That's good to hear. Even though this is a different world, it still seems inadvisable to freely share certain secrets.

[She's definitely right here, but man he can't help but comment:]

The precision and control you have over your lack of an expression is impressive...I can't tell if you're being serious here or still chiding me a little.

[He's not asking her to change, but damn Lynette, you didn't crack once. And he's an expert at reading people!]

[ She curtsies seriously, as though she just finished a performance at the Opera Epiclese ]

Thank you for the compliment. And why not a little bit of both?

[That definitely wasn't the answer he was expecting, which makes him laugh.]

It's not often you find an agent who's willing to give a Harbinger a little ribbing here and there. Alright, come on, let's get out of here before you can find something else to make fun of me for...

[Wasting no time and not looking back as he ducks out of that booth, he'll wait until they're finally clear of all the R-18 nonsense before he turns back to Lynette to walk at her side through the festival.]

So, now that you've been here for a little bit now, how have the two of you settled in? Come across any problems along the way?

[ If he doesn't seem inclined to go somewhere specific, she'll steer them toward the safer merchandise stalls on the way to the food area. ]

Mm, nothing major--but we haven't ventured very far from the city so far. We've mostly been gathering information and trying some of the simpler-appearing quests.

That's not a bad place to start.

[Easily steered, he follows at her side to go towards the safer merch areas. He can see themed mugs and quicksand acrylic blocks of not only himself but of the other participants. Nothing terrible, thank the archons.]

As you can imagine, the further out you go, the more dangerous the mission will become. We had a few people from Teyvat lose their lives to a monster we were finally able to put down not all that long ago. So I'd be careful once you start venturing out into the segments.

[ She glances at the booths as they walk by. She doesn't stop at any, though she does slow down as they pass a booth selling a variety of headbands with animal ears on them--before Childe's statement draws her attention ]

...I see. Is there anything else about the outer segments that would be useful to know prior to going that far out? I know we'll have to get proper clothing for the environment, of course.

[Childe purposely slows his step when Lynette seems to slow a bit while they pass that booth with the headbands, glancing over at them.]

I'd suggest doing a little research to know what you might encounter out there. There's a variety of monsters that are fierce , and ghosts depending on where you go. I've seen people get possessed, lose their bodies by getting their soul knocked out of them, and been possessed myself.

[He stops to turn towards the booth, holding a hand up to his chin.]

Possession sounds unpleasant. How did you reverse it?

[ When he stops, she does as well, turning to look at the headbands in more detail ]

I was thinking of getting one for my brother.

Then why don't we check them out? I'll tell you all about the possession debacles I was involved in while we browse.

[He leads her over to the first table that has all sorts of different cat ears, and even a few tails that are in their own little section. He picks up a pair of what looks like tortie ears, putting them on in amusement.]

The first encounter I had, the ghosts possessed my comrade who was with me at the time. And because my seasonal powers weren't all that strong yet, I could only see them, not exorcise them- so I had to use the power granted to me by the Tsaritsa to forcefully remove it from his body.

[He turns to her with the ears on his head. Even though they're not shopping for him, how does he look? ^^]

[ Her ears flatten briefly. If one of the Harbingers had to use his powers that way, it's definitely a sign that they have to take the outer segments very seriously. ]

I'm impressed that worked. Was his body all right?

[ When he turns to her with the cat ears on, her tail twitches slightly as she's torn between amusement and mild consternation at the juxtaposition between his cheerful appearance and what she knows of his abilities. ]

[He hums in amusement at her answer, taking them off to examine them. They're cute, he'll admit, but he wonders if he can find something else around here that would suit him even better. Though, Childe isn't unaware of the slight bit of discomfort Lynette might be feeling after being told about something so severe, in regards to the ghosts and all- but he won't linger on it too much longer, because what's done is done.]

I don't think it was very pleasant for him, but let's just say he walked away with his life, and, that's all that matters.

[Instead now, he'll start looking for some cat ears that would look good on Lyney. Probably ones that have the same color as his hair, so he can match his sister. He's perusing now through some lighter colors of cat ears, amusement dancing in his eyes as he goes over them. What about this one, is it too white, he thinks? Maybe something closer to a white grey. Isn't Lyney's hair more blonde though?]

As for getting possessed, well...that all depends on what possesses you, at least in my experience. It's happened to me twice now. Say, which season do the two of you align with, if I might ask?

[ She wrinkles her nose slightly at this, as she still isn't sure why she and her brother are aligned with seasons that are the opposite of their Visions. ]

[Childe picks up a pair of ears that he thinks might be close to Lyney's hair color, trying to decide if it's even worth bringing to Lynette for approval. Ah, seems she's a little perplexed about the seasonal powers, huh?]

Summer and spring, huh...well, neither of those seasons will help you with dealing with spirits. So the answer to your question is yes- but you need to be aligned with winter. I just so happen to be of that season myself.

[Okay, he thinks he really found a good one. It's a pair of cat ears that match Lyney's hair color pretty well, but it's got black spots on it. He turns to Lynette to present them for her consideration while he continues.]

I suppose if the two of you run into trouble on that front, you can come find me and I can lend a hand...

[ Her brow furrows slightly as she takes in this information. Childe's offer is certainly generous, but the children of the House of the Hearth (and the Fatui in general) are naturally wary of being indebted to others. But then again, the eleventh Harbinger is also known for his love of battle so maybe that's all there is to it? ]

I appreciate the offer--though I would prefer to avoid getting into such a situation in the first place, if possible.

[ She studies the ears critically before nodding slightly. ]

Those look like a good match. I also found these.

[ She holds up a tail that's a fairly close match for the ears he found in color, though they don't have the spots. She also found a lion's tail for child--it doesn't match the ears he had on earlier, but it's a reasonable fit for his hair. ]

[He only shrugs- makes no difference to him, as long as The Knave doesn't get mad at him for letting her children get into trouble one day. They're from the House of the Hearth though...he's sure they can take care of themselves perfectly well.]

Hah! Lyney will look splendid with this combination. Now you both can match...oh?

[He hands over the ears he's picked out, but reaches for the lion's tail she's got in her hand. Amusement colors his expression, he was expecting more of a fox-like item out of anything else, but a lion is a fierce animal all on its own. He won't let on though, what he truly thinks of it, not yet at least.]

Is this for me? Is this what you think of me, Lynette?

The lion is considered the king of the beasts, so it seems like a good fit for someone who wants to keep getting stronger.

I also considered a tiger, since the orange is another good color for you. However, I couldn't find any tiger tails that were fluffy enough.
